Because social distancing guidelines remain in effect to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, many July 4th celebrations have been cancelled or put on hold. Although nothing can replace the magic of real fireworks, HoloPundits has created a free augmented reality (AR) experience to bring the fireworks to you! HoloPundits founder and CEO Vinod Dega hopes the TotalAR app will raise spirits and provide enjoyment for the many people who will spend the holiday at home.

What is augmented reality?

Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that overlays digital content (3D videos and images) on top of real scenes using a smartphone or tablet. Viewers use their personal device’s camera to view their real environment while the device displays the digital content over it.

Is this secure?

Users do not need to log in or provide any personal information while accessing this app. HoloPundits does not collect or share any personal information. We use a secure cloud-based platform and maintain rigorous privacy standards based on industry best practices.

Why does the app request location permission?

For the app to work correctly, it must access your camera and your location. The technology is based on your location. HoloPundits will not share this information or use it for anything other than the app.
